Dress update and checks

So my dress dilemma has been resolved...and I didn't end up with either one of the dresses I initally told y'all about. I found a completely different one at DB, and I had the tears, emotion and all so I know, finally, that its THE ONIE! I'd link it for you, but my fella is sitting right next to me.

We've been busy besides that...had e-photos done a couple of weeks ago.
(Side question: how long should I wait to see proofs from the photog? I don't want to be a PITA, but I want to see how they came out!)

We did our registry at Macy's today and we're also doing myregistry.com, and thats pretty much done. (Side question: we have 150 on the guest list, and about 70 items on the registry...enough, or no?)

STD's are addressed, and ready to go out!

Thats its on the checks...

Another question for you all. FI's dad used to work with Tom Destry, so we might use him for the DJ. Has anyone else used him or been to a wedding that he Dj'd? What did you think of him?

Also looking for limo/shuttle that isn't going to cost a bajillion dollars. Rec's please!

    Yeah!

RE: Dress - Congrats on the dress check! You have to show us what dress you fell in love with!

Re: e-pics - send a quick email to your photog (since you said it was a few weeks ago) and ask when you can expect to see them.\

Re: Registry - you need to add more items. (I read the rule of thumb is 3 items per person. But I think that means female due to the shower. So if you have 150 guests, assume 75 are female. You need about 225 items. But they mean total items. Like the $3 spatula and $8 measuring cups. So that your total number of items is 225. That way is someone wants to buy you your comforter set, they can. But someone else can buy you all your kitchen gadgets and that would be a nice gift. Right now you have one gift per person, which isn't a lot to choose from.

Re: Limo/ Shuttle - We used Settembre Limo and we had no problems. For shuttles, even though we didn't get a shuttle, I called around and had we used one, we would have gone with JTR

    HTH! Good luck!
