W Hotel - Reviews (Help!)

Hi All,
I think I found the venue I wanted to host my wedding at.  We have pretty much settled on the W Hotel in Washington, DC.  That said, I have not seen a lot of wedding reviews about them.  I have seen 2 so far... one was amazing all 5 stars, the other about a 3.5.  Any ladies out there have good, bad, or ugly reviews of this hotel?  Please let me know.  Thank you!!!

    That hotel is where my fiance proposed! :) We have stayed there a couple of times and always had a good experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the service is attentive and pleasant. I haven't attended any parties or special events there, but that seems like a great place for a wedding! I'm sure it's on the pricey side, but then again everything in DC is!

    I know this is quite late and I am sure that you are past requiring feedback about the venue.  But I am reaching out to see if you made the decision to go with the W hotel.  If so, in which room are you having the reception?  If you don't mind, can you give some general information about pricing?  My husband and I got engaged at the hotel and are looking to have our reception there as well.  Thanks!
