We're on Style Me Pretty!!!

You ladies have no idea as to how pumped I am!!!  I don't know if any of you have visited Style Me Pretty for wedding inspiration, but I swear their site is like wedding porn.  I submitted our wedding back in August and it took so long for them to contact me that I didn't think that they would feature us.  We all know that there aren't enough black couples on some of these sites so that was my main reason for submitting our wedding.  I wanted to show that black people can have nice weddings and that not all of us have ghetto azz weddings (even though we've all seen a few).  I think more of us need to submit our weddings to magazines and websites to defy the stereotype.

    I am loving the pictures; and your colors came together great.  Very classy!
    I really like your isle runner.  Did you do it yourself or did someone else?

    @nitaashanti - I made my aisle runner by creating the image on photoshop and getting it enlarged at Kinkos for $4.  Then I traced the image on the aisle runner and then painted it.

    @egammo - I got my crystal cake banding from diamondpartyconfetti.com.

    I completely agree. I check this site everyday. They showcase some beautiful weddings and yours is gorgeous. Congrats on the feature! There aren't a whole lot of AA's featured but I always try to post when they are. I'll have to add your feature to daily gorgeous weddings

    YAY!  I am so happy your wedding got posted.  It was beautiful and should be shared just like you said.  AA weddings can be gorgeous indeed. :)
