  A purse to match the BM dress (which was brown) and inside where the tag would be was a monogram of my new initials. Reason #1 - I didn't have a brown purse to use! Reason #2- I can always reuse it and it's neutral, Reason #3 - It brought a tear to my eye to see my new initials two months before our wedding. I loved it!

  Best: monogrammed gold locket, silver bead bracelet, monogrammed tote bag (not that I don't already have 90 of those, but I really liked the color scheme).  All good gifts because they're absolutely things I would have picked for myself.

  
  

  Worst: really cheap looking sparkly jewelry to be worn at wedding (I would never wear it again), cutesy "bridesmaid" tote (not my style because it was way too cutesy, plus why would I ever use anything that said "bridesmaid" on it? I used it to carry stuff to the salon on the wedding day just to be nice, then it went straight to Goodwill), random bridal-themed stuff (like a pad shaped like a wedding dress -- why do I want to write people notes on a wedding dress shaped pad?), and random bath and body stuff from Bath and Body Works (not a scent that I liked, and I feel like random B&BW sets are what you give to your teacher or cleaning person or other person you don't know at all but have to give a small gift to).

  Best: LL Bean tote bag (the nice big one) with my name on it in my favorite color (we all had different colors) and a really nice 3 strand pearl bracelet.

  I've only been BM twice but one was the best and one was really the worst :P
  
  Best: Sterling silver necklace with my first initial on it to wear in the wedding. I used to wear it everyday after the wedding until the chain broke. I still have the charm to put on another chain whenever I remember. It was a simple necklace that was nice for everyday wear.
  
  Worst: Another necklace for a wedding but it was really cheap. It was fake pearl-looking things on plastic string. It looked like it wrapped around several times but the pearls were sporadically on the plastic string so you could see plenty of the plastic string. It didn't even look good with the BM dresses!

  Best were- pretty jewelry, spa giftcards, and a lenox frame with the promise of a professional pic of myself and bride! Loved it!

  Best: PJ's and a game for Wii--I know sounds dumb but I was MOH in a friends wedding and I was obsessed with Mario Kart on Wii and she bought me the game as a MOH gift
