Kahu Bruce! or Nettie Tiffany?

Does anyone have a video with him in it? I really really really want to go with him, but he's so expensive! I guess I just want to justify the cost.  It's the travel fee of $75 to Lani that's killing me ... I know it might be worth it to bite the bullet to have a great ceremony.

Has anyone used Aunty Nettie Tiffany (caretaker of Lanikuhonua)? I think she performs ceremonies too ... not sure the cost (but I've heard its MUCH lower than any others).  I just don't want to broach the subject with her unless I'm going to use her.

    I unfortunately don't have a video that I can upload with Kahu Bruce (only the wedding DVD), but I will vouch and say he is totally, completely, absolutely worth it. He was one of my favorite vendors. Have you talked to him on the phone or in person? I was just "ehh" about him at first, but after DH and I met with him, we were so glad we went with him. He truly believes everything he says. And is so so so so nice.

    I haven't heard anything about Aunty Nettie, but did also hear that she performs ceremonies. Sorry I can't be of help there!

    Thanks to Cai I am going with Kahu Bruce, we've talked over the phone briefly and I was really pleased with how warm and welcoming he sounded, in fact I haven't even talked about the cost! What is he charging you? I have a pic of him in my bio. He's going to be meeting us to get our marriage license (nice gesture). I feel like we're gonna have to pay for an officiant regardless, might as well cough it up to get a person who is recommended and good at what he does, one less thing for me to worry about.  've been to a wedding where the pastor kept calling the bride who was named Marisa , Miranda...poor thing she laughed but you could tell it was appalling to her.  Oh I did a little bit of looking on the other boards and it seems like people in NYC and Jersey were paying like $400 for their officiants, and i'm pretty sure he's not that expensive.
