Need good, last minute dermatologist stat...

Hey MSP ladies!  I'm getting married in Chicago next weekend but FI and I just moved here last month.  I'm here until Tuesday when I head down to Chicago but I'm hoping to get checked out before.  This isn't the best foot to put forward here on this board but I'm hoping for some Minnesota nice people to help...

My skin is doing something crazy.  Before it was a couple zits on my face but now I'm getting a rash all over.   I don't have an internist here yet so I'm hoping somebody out there knows of a good person to call in the morning.  I'll travel anywhere.

    I can't recommend anyone specific, but your best bet is looking into the dermatologists at the University of Minnesota Physicians. However, stear clear of Dr. Demanivel! She is HORRIBLE!

    Dr. Crutchfield is excellent! Hard to get in to but worth a try.

    just a heads up, depending on your insurance you might have to get a referral from a primary doctor before you can see a dermatologist.  Hopefully not, and good luck finding someone!

    Dr Jamie Davis at Uptown Dermatology is pretty great, if you cant see her, her office has others that I've never seen, but have also heard good things about.

    It's been a while, but I used to see Dr. McCauley at the Park Nicollet clinic in St. Louis Park.

    My only recommendation is that whoever do you decide to contact, make sure you tell the receptionist that you're getting married next week - most dermatologists will make exceptions and see you on an emergency basis for something like that.

    Thanks ladies!  Yeah I'm hoping to use the marriage excuse.  If not my FI is a resident at the U of M so he can maybe (?) pull some strings.

    I've gone to Dermatology Consultants for a long time.  My primary lady is out on medical leave right now but I haven't really seen a doc there that I didn't like.  P.s. I wonder if your FI and my sister have crossed paths at the U.  she's an intern this year!
