how much music for prelude/procession?

My friend and I are going to write music for the the prelude and procession for my wedding.  He'll be playing the music on guitar.  How much time should we have covered?  The wedding will be outdoors, roughly 100 people.  The wedding party has 6 brides maids and groomsmen (each).  Thoughts?

Thanks.

We have 30 minutes worth of songs for the prelude.

We also have 6 on each side.  The guys are coming in the side of the sanctuary and the girls are walking down the aisle by themselves.

Our processional song is 4ish minutes long, but we're not changing it between the bridesmaids, flower girls & ringbearer, and me.  My worship pastor also knows how to extend or shorten the song if he needs to.

It's pretty standard, I believe to have 30 minutes of prelude music playing so that no guest arrives to silence.  How long of a processional you'll need will depend on how long the aisle is and how fast people walk.  We measured ours (it's only 21 of my normal steps!) so we're also having the same song for the WP and me.  Our pianist wrote my processional song and it's approx 4 minutes... I'd hate for him to have to cut out any of it because it's so gorgeous.
