Alterations - moment of truth

EEEEK!!! Yesterday was my 1st alterations apt - for those of you who weren't around for my dress meltdown months ago; due to sizing issues and some confusion at the bridal shop I ended up with a dress 1 size bigger than I ordered. The manager promised me that the bottom which now feels like a sack will be everything I fell in love with once they were done with it.
They pinned and pulled yesterday and I don't get to see the outcome for another week.... I'm going to be sitting on the edge of my seat until then!!!! Major knottie vibes needed that this is going to be the dress I fell in love with when I put it on next week.

    Sending you some knottie vibes girl! I'm sure it will be beautiful and they will be able to size it down properly. One size too big doesn't seem too outrageous to fix. Be sure to show off your final fitting :)

    I know it sounds silly that I'm stressing about a 1 size difference but my dress is very simple and the only detail (and the main part I fell in love with) is the bottom - when it came in I was so upset about how it felt and looked on me and I've had it in the back of my head the entire 6 months wondering if my dress will ever be what I loved again.
    When we went to the alterations apt I didn't exactly feel heard by the seamstress and she didn't care to look at the pictures I brought of myself in the original dress. She seemed to think there was nothing wrong with how it looked...... I'm not a fan of A line which is how it looked previous to this apt, what I fell in love with was the fit and flare look.

    I'm trying to stay super positive though - you are right, 1 size is not much and this woman has worked in the bridal salon for multiple years so she has to be talented at what she does, right??
