  This is probably about 20 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale and you have to book a 2-hour minimum, but hey. It's an option.
  
  I'm using the Japanese Friendship Garden at 3rd Ave and Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix. For a Sunday event, we're paying just over $600 for two hours. It's a pretty location, but it is small. They can fit around 150 guests. Not sure how long your guest list is.

  The Desert Botanical Garden has a ceremony only area that you can rent for what ever time period you need it.  It is called The Amphitheather.

  I have already looked at both of those, and would like something a bit closer.  The Amphitheater is also pretty tiny, at least with myself and FH.  We were thinking about Chapparal Park at one of the Ramadas, but we cant book that until 6 months out. 

  
  

  Budget is pretty tight and most of our guests will be from out of town.  There is roughly about 100 people invited.. so this is the most frustrating part.  Thank you for the ideas of Japanese Friendship Garden and DBG though!

  You might try Portico. They are in Gilbert though.
