2012 Vegas Conference/Convention Calendar

Hello - I did a little research, and found a calendar listing all of the conferences/conventions scheduled in Las Vegas next year.  This site lists the number of attendees and the location.  I thought it might be helpful for Knotties still picking their dates.  (For example, I hope no one's planning a mid-January wedding during CES :))

    I feel bad for the two "expos" that only have 60 attendees lol, if they put events with that number of people on there, I should have registered my wedding.

    Check the 2011 calendar.  The big conventions will come back the same time each year so you can get a rough idea of the what and when.

    Is the convention at the MB?  If so, that's a problem.  If not, then you should be fine.

    We just booked our venue for Jan 12th right during the CES. Holy Crap! I am already having issues with blocking off rooms too. I seriously don't want to call and ask for the next week especially if they charge us.

    I already looked at that!  Since they're at the Convention Center, I'm guessing the majority of people will stay on the North Strip.  It might be busier than usual, but late May's pretty darned busy anyway... because it's an awesome time to be in Vegas.

    woo nothing on my day...yet. in march this year there was a home depot and mcyD's convention that just seemed like an ocean of people...

    I would definitely try to switch to a non-CES week.  I worked CES one year and the hotel room I could find was in Primm (Stateline) and I communted in each day.  No bueno.

    MissJets that was rachandmat.  She got all disturbed that I had her name in my sig so I updated and asked her if that was better.  She acutally approved.

    I did call, they had no other room available for the following weeks after BUT we got the date for a week before. Our family didn't like the thursday so we asked for the 6th or 7th. They are both available and we are going for the 6th. I just faxed over my signed agreement for them to do it today and they did not charge us a thing! Yay!! Lol

    It was funny, my dad tried to see if we can get the 31st of Dec and the rooms cost were $200 a night. Lol Nice try Dad.
