garters! Are you doing a theme one or just something cute?

I haven't decided if I am going to do a garter or not. I am not doing the bouquet/garter toss, so I'm not sure if there is really a reason to wear it? If I do wear one, it will be my mom's, which is powder blue with lace trim.

Anyone else debating not wearing one? If so, what are your reasons?

Mine is University of Kentucky. That has always been my favorite college basketball team and FI has grown to liking them as well. And since we are getting married on the verg of the NCAA tournament I thought it was fitting. But I won't be letting him toss this one.

I'm not wearing one - we aren't doing any tosses, so it's just something unnecessary that I would have to buy. Of course, if you're looking for your something blue, you could do that. My shoes are blue, so I've got that covered!!

I'm making mine... its on my to do list... I called a friend of ours who owns a balloon repair shop and he sent me some blue balloon fabric, the same as FH's balloon, and I'm going to make it out of that and add some lace... FH will get a kick out of it

My mom made mine, but I don't have pics. The one I'm wearing is blue & white (for my something blue) with a fleur de lis charm and the one FI is throwing is in our wedding colors of purple 7 green with the same charm.

They are cute.

We aren't doing a garter/bouquet toss. The main reason being most of our guests are married. So it would be kind of pointless. We are going to do a presentation of flowers and gift card to the longest married couple. I may wear a garter for that night, but it just seems kinda pointless to do it.

I just bought mine on Etsy. I went back and forth one a pretty one or a funny one and decided to go the fully route. FI is a HUGE video game fan so I think he'll get a kick out of it.

I have an ivory one for the toss and a blue Florida Gators one for FI to keep. It's kind of a joke because he has one that he caught hanging from his car mirror and now he will have one to replace it with! It's his favorite team and my something blue.

I wasn't planning on wearing a garter because I don't want to have a garter toss, but I found a white/pink one at Michael's on sale for $2 so I figured why not?! It matches the BM dresses pretty closely
