What are you DW knotties doing after your DW? AHR? Open House? Nothing?

Are you meaning day of??? If so, we're just having a Celebratory Cocktail with our guests. Dinner is included in the Cruise, so we will be having dinner together that evening as well.

If you mean upon our return from our Cruise or DW, yes... we are having an AHR. Well, actually, we're having two AHR's. One three weeks after we return here in California where we currently live, and another one 5 weeks after that in Minnesota where FI's entire family and friends he grew up with live.

Pool party at my dad's place about 6 weeks after the wedding. We're not calling it a reception because it's really casual and we don't want people to think they need to bring presents.

We're actually having two AHRs. One in a location that is close to my family and the majority of our friends, and the second near his family.

The whole idea of a DW was to avoid all this extra work--oh well! It should all be fun.

For some reason I can't vote in the polls. Oh well, we are still undecided on what we will do after. I'm thinking it may be more of an open house type thing, but we have to make a final decision in the next month or so.

I voted nothing/other, everyone is spending so much on the wedding and travel, and it's my Dad's 60th birthday 2 weeks before we leave, and there will be a party for that, we aren't really planning anything, although I'm thinking of having 'picture viewing' cook outs a couple months after the wedding, so that might count as a AHR, in a way, kinda.

We're having a small semi-private dinner at the resort post-wedding (included in our wedding package), and then having the big AHR 3 weeks after we return. The AHR will be a typical recption - I plan to wear my dress, we have a caterer and DJ booked. I'm even bringing my photographer back to get pics with those who couldn't attend (ie. my G-ma!).

We can't afford to do anything after the wedding! LOL! Even though it's destination we're still expecting between 60-70 people- and the most important ones will be there. Also- between the engagement party and 2 showers, I think we'll celebrate at least once with everyone!
