Colors

Will these colors be ok for a March wedding?

My dress will be a champagne, lt gold color and I would like to have a burgundy, wine color bouquet.

My bridesmaids will be in floor length black dresses and I would like them to carry cream and white colored bouquets.

I may accent in a lt gold, champagne color.

I am worried that this palette will be too dark. What are your thoughts?

I think it's dark...but if it's what you want, then you should absoultely do it! It's your wedding and those colors are great!

I think it depends more on where your wedding will be than what time of year you're having it.

I, for example, had a fall wedding, but had really springy colors (blush, ivory and gold) because something bold or deeply colored would have been too much with our venue.  It worked really well.

    Where is your wedding?

You also may want to reconsider the bouquet color- just hold the flowers you want up to your dress- if it is a true gold undertone, red and burgundy may not be the way you want to go.

I think it sounds gorgeous for a March wedding!!!  I love your color choices.  They are bold and different and sound like they will really look beautiful and elegant together!

I think they will look lovely as long as you balance it enough. Have too much burgundy and black and it will look odd but if there is enough champagne and gold it will look very elegant.
