FI AW and DIY question

One of our wedding DIY projects was personalized water bottle labels.  I had asked FI to help because he is good with photoshop and whatnot, so he ended up taking over the whole project :)  Most of them are pretty much the same concept-- our names on the left, then the logo he drew/created and then "Wedding Water" and our wedding date on the right.  I think it's kind of weird that he decided to put "Wedding Water" on the label, but it's kind of funny and I don't really care either way!  I was just happy that he was enthusiastic about the project and finished it!

Here are some pics

Also,  I have sort of a predicament about our favors.  See pic below.  How do I get the little tag attached?  I think my brain is fried and I can't think of any solutions that will look good.  The riboon tied around the tin is too thick to thread through the little hole in the tag.

Re: FI AW and DIY question

  • Ok, the "wedding water" made me LOL But they look super cute!!

The only thing that popped in my head for the tags was a really thin piece of string or pink elastic...like what they put tags on flip flops with lol (if you can even find it). I'd just tie that around part of the thick ribbon and maybe try to hide it within the knot of the bow. Otherwise, I can see how that is a challenge...

Can you attach it to the ribbon underneath (where it would lay flat)?

  • Maybe a small piece of floral wire wrapped into the bow.  It's pretty easy to bend and would loop well.

I think elastic would work or even a piece of thread or string just tied into a loop and into the bow.

</div><div>Hmmm... I have some jewelry wire and clear thread.  I'll have to experiment with the two.  I will do ANYTHING to avoid making ANOTHER trip to the craft store!  LOL I should have looked into buying stock for Michael's and JoAnn Fabric stores!

  • We had the same issue with our favors and used silver stretchy jewelry elastic (my best description lol).  it hid well under the ribbon and allows for some give if the tag is pulled during travel.  we got a small spool in the jewelry isle in Michaels for $6.00
