  I ended up using Vista Print and used coupons etc. A friend designed them and we just uploaded the image. I wanted them to look nice, but I wasn't about to spend $3 or $4/each when people just throw them away. We ended up spending about $300 for all of our invites. 

  
  

  I did look into paperandmore.com and DIY ideas. I love the pocket invitations, but even doing them myself by hand it would have cost a ton, and taken more time than I was willing to give.

  We used You're Invited in Dublin/Hilliard. Sarah is AMAZING. We originally were going to only use her for invitations, but have been so happy we are also having her do our napkins, menu cards, place cards, and programs.

  The best prices I could find for someone local was Alternative Hitches.  (clicky)  I ended up DIYing the invites and loved every second of it but it does take time, depending on how elaborte you get.  Vistaprint is always a good/cheap option if they have a style that works for you.  I used them for my thank you's and rehearsal dinner invites.

  We used Peabody Papers in Grandview for all our wedding  paper needs. Everything turned out great!

  We bought our wedding invites at Wal-Mart. They were very nice looking and not too cheapy as we had a formal wedding. I know Brides also makes some nice looking ones I have seen sold at Michael's. You simply download the template for the invite, tell your printer the margins and print them yourself. They were very inexpensive and had matching seals, favor boxes, etc.
  
  I know Vistaprint is also another popular way to go. I also know of some knotties on the private board that have their own business doing stationary I could get you the contact info for. I have also heard of brides using Etsy as well. Maybe someone on here could recommend a seller.

  We paid about 4.50/invite. We also had her do the envelopes...it averaged about 1.50/envelope for the caligraphy and the return address on the back.
  
  We did flip pocket invites with 3 inserts. There are so many options that you could easily go up or down from this price.

  I actually found a seller on ebay to make my invitations.  We are having a damask-themed wedding and her invitations were gorgeous and had that perfect damask pattern I had been looking for!
  
  We definitely scored.  We got 150 invitations, RSVP postcards, and accommodations cards, and envelopes with our return address printed,  as well as 150 Save the Date postcards for $150 total.  Once we order our programs and table numbers, we will have spent just over $200 total.

  I actually made mine bit by bit...it wasn't too bad considering we made over 200 invites (daumn!)
  
  I have info in my  bio if you want to check it out - other brides on my month board did Vistaprint which were cute, and others went to Etsy sellers.

  I used Vistaprint for our invitations, STDs, and TY cards.  I used one of their designs, and loved it.
  Our STDs were FREE!!!!  Vistaprint has a deal for 100 free postcards, so that is what we used for our STDs.  They were so pretty!
  We got 200 invitations and RSVP cards.  I spent about $150 on them.  Which included an uploaded picture and full color backside.
  
  
  We then got TY cards from them....and by this time, I had discovered that Livingsocial often has $10 for $50 worth of products.  So I bought that one time, I ended up using that for the TY cards, and spent an additional $15 or so dollars for 100 TY cards, and we uploaded an e-pic on the back.
  
  
  This option allows you to take some control, but not have to actually do a whole lot of DIY stuff besides determining what design you want and the wording.  It was great. And the quality is AMAZING!!! especially for the price.

  Harlan's Invitations and Calligraphy. Cami does great work...she just did my sister's invitations, programs, menu cards and will be doing mine here within the next few months.
