Ceremony Layout For Program...

So I just got off the phone with my rabbi and had him go over the ceremony with me. I just want to run it by ya'll to see if I got everything straight so I can put it into our program... Sorry if the font is weird, I typed this into Word while I was on the phone and copy & pasted...

Ceremony:

Begin Ceremony: Thank guests for coming

Prayers {does anyone know what prayers are said here or what I call this part in the program?}

Then he said something about next we take each other with conditions... in which we say 'yes' or 'i do'...

    Typcially, the prayers prior to the rings would be kiddush and then a longer bracha, about the sanctification of the chuppah and marriage, which makes it a little odd to do kiddush after that.

    The "taking" in an Orthodox ceremony would be a claim using the ring by your groom on you; presumably your rabbi is doing some sort of egalitarian equivalent involving both rings, but you'd have to ask the rabbi exactly what.

    Keep in mind that in an Orthodox wedding only the groom gives the bride a ring under the chuppah (often the bride gives the groom a ring in Yichud or later after the chuppah).  More liberal Jews often do a double ring ceremony under the chuppah, though sometimes they do separate them from one another so it is not a complete "exchange" - I did this.  Talk to your rabbi if you have any questions.
