This is an odd way to honor thousands of lives lost.  I'm still under the impression that this post is SPAM.  I will be editing it on the MN board and recomending Hike do the same here.

Agreed.  I feel like the military connection is really vaguely tangentially related at best to 9/11, and a much better way to honor those people would be a college fund for the children of fallen firefighters.  To donate the money from all the purchases of the first 100 designer dresses to said college fund or something.  It just seems a better way to honor 9/11.  For Veterans Day or the 4th of July or something, sure, honor service members.  But for 9/11, it should be about those who died that day, most especially those who died heroically trying to save others.  And their families who miss them every day, not the brides who have the comparatively minor problem of not having a big wedding day.

Dunno, just my two cents.  I really don't like people who try to capitalize on days of rememberence for advertising their businesses.  Leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

I don't know for sure, but I was wondering just for curiosities sake:

looks legit on their site and that seems extravagant for spam.

ps don't get the connection either, but it does make it useful to military brides in Kansas. Calini I agree I don't like when people capitalize on those types of things, but I don't think I can stop it so to each their own.

Spam is any advertising on the boards for the sole purpose of advertising.  This person just created this account, has 6 posts and all of them are advertising this give away.  It is a violation of the terms of service.

I'm not sure who did the edit.  I reported her and notified the gods about it.  Maybe they took care of it.
