WR?
NWR??

Happy "Monday"!!!  Hope you all had a safe & great holiday weekend!!

Re: What are your week to do's?!?!

  • Thank god it's not Monday! Today is already looking soooooooooooooooo slow at work, and I am dreading it!

FI and I have to order our thank you cards today because the 25% off sale ends tonight at midnight. We also have to start working on our escort card template and send the DJ our song list within the next week. And I have my makeup trial on Sunday and I am SO FREAKING EXCITED! haha I love makeup and I've been looking forward to this trial for so long. Oh and look at our table numbers! We finished them this weekend!

We don't have a whole lot that's out of the oridinary NWR this week. Just more of the same.

  • Only 33 days left!

Shower is this Sunday, June 3rd!!
    Bachelorette is June 9th!

    -Confirm arrangements for night before
    -Make Final Payment to DJ
-Contact Venue to set up final meeting with DOC and Banquet Manager at venue
-Call Cake Lady to confirm final details
    -Iron table overlays
    -Start packing vases

  • So glad for the four day week! Next week is only true full week we have left at work! Which is good because I have a lot to do.

WR: Meet with probable rehearsal dinner people, meet with probable grooms cake people, Figure out music (first dance, ceremony, Father daughter, etc), Bug FI about getting fitted for tux/ buying sport coat for RD. Start organizing responses as they come in!

NWR: Nothing exciting, work, oooh date night with FI later in the week. He feels bad because he abandoned me to go get food with his friend while I looked for parking so we're going for dinner and a movie when he gets paid!

    I can't believe I'm under fifty days!

  • WR: Not sure yet other than a shower on Sunday, this one will be a combined one with FI's cousin so it'll be fun.

NWR: Finishing up the last week of work- the seniors already left so we only have grades 9-11 until Thursday. We did some yard work yesterday and hopefully we'll do more this week.

  • WR: Not much. Still waiting on my ceremony music to be emailed to me so I can get going on my programs. I have thought about starting typing the escort cards for seating so there aren't many do to.

This month is finally my shower. June 24th so I am pretty excited for that and my hair and makeup trial is the 30th so I am really excited for it to be the end of June! :)

NWR: Not much we have 3 birthday parties on Saturday, and then on Sunday we have our nephews 1st birthday party. Other than that nothing else going on.

  • It's been SO hot and humid here that I'm now getting a taste of what it's probably going to be like on our wedding day.  WHAT WAS I THINKING GETTING MARRIED IN JULY???  :)

WR: Meeting with mom's friend tonight who is doing our bouquets and bouts.  At some point this week I need to drive over my favors and gift bags to my grandma's house.  She's 83 years old and did such a nice job on my shower favors that we're letting her do my wedding favors - she's thrilled to have a job for the wedding and I'm thrilled to allocate this task because it's a huge PIA.  :)

Friday my priest is back in the country and I need to hunt him down to setup a meeting so we can finally go over our ceremony and readings.

NWR: I have 3 trainer sessions this week!

  • Happy (TUESDAY!) everyone! Yay for a 4 day week!! Hope everyone had a great long weekend!

ceglare I love your table numbers by the way!!

WR: We are planning to start organizing our RSVP database. Our invites went out on Friday (WHEEEEE) and we already got two RSVP cards hand-delivered back to my parents. My fiance is an Excel genius so we need to get that going with names and meal choices!

We also need to buy our frames for our escort table/meet the maids table, and my mom wants me to come over soon to work on some of our DIY projects.

NWR: TONS of work to do this week. Then Saturday is one of my law school BFF"s weddings - she is amazing and creative and fun and gorgeous, and all of her friends are amazing, so I think the wedding is going to be one of the most fun ever (other than how much fun my own wedding will hopefully be ;) ).  Then Sunday, my cousin graduates from high school! Fiance and I are going to a big family brunch prior to the graduation, then we are all going to the graduation together. His class is pretty big so the actual ceremony should be long and boring, but I am excited for the brunch and to catch upw ith some of our family!
  • HI Everyone!!!  Feels so good to be back in the US :)

Frankfurt was dull and all I wanted to do was come home on Friday and see FI but sadly he was leaving for Boston on Friday and did not get home until late last night (he was working or he would have never went!)

WR- Tomorrow FI and I both are off from work so we are going to our venue to finalize our menu, select our cake design and go over other details of the day. After that we have plans to get frames for some of the items at the wedding- for example we are having signature drinks so I want to print them nicely and have them framed on the bar.  We have a few other wedding errands to run so a nice wedding day is planned :)

  • I'm so glad its Tuesday and not Monday! But where are the days going?!

WR - I got most of my TY cards out for my shower except the hostess TY cards need to put more thought into those.  This week I have to get my readings in order and find under garments for my fitting next week.  I also need to figure out songs because I'm supposed to meet with the DJ next week as well.  I really need to work on my DIY's as well.

NWR - I have the usual work, school work, house work to do.  Weather pending we are having friends over on Saturday night for a cookout.

  • WR: I might throw up if I type it all out. I'll just say a lot.

NWR: I have to meet my step-dad's (who I consider my real dad) new girlfriend on Saturday. Creepy to the max. Not looking forward to that at all. Condom in the dog poop girlfriend (if anyone remembers that story).

But then Saturday night I'm going to this country bar with some friends from High School that I haven't seen in forever! That's my carrot that I'm working towards, haha.

  • I also don't post here often...been hanging on the FB page.

NWR- FI and I went to a wedding reception on Saunday (they got married in Hawaii last month). It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy ourselves. We also had great weather here in Seattle, so we got to take the dogs to the park A LOT and get out all their energy, that was nice!

WR- I ordered and recieved my blue cowgirl boots and they fit PERFECTLY and look great with my dress length. I am SO relieved! FI also decided to buy his guys each a tuxedo t-shirt to wear at the reception if it is too hot for their formal wear.
I also had a lunch date with my girls on Saturday. They are so great, they each brought pens, highlighters, notebooks an dfolders. Took lots of notes, made tons of lists, and got a lot written down and organized. I still feel stressed out but thats just the OCD in me freaking out about the time ticking away. lol!!
