farm wedding

We are having a farm wedding in May. The problem is how to get me and my bridesmaids (2) and Dad to the ceremony.  Which is being held about a mile down a dirt lane.  Dont want to do the limo thing. Not worth the money, the ride is short, but could be dusty. Any ideas out there??????

  • The guest will park in a field and walk over. Or ride golf carts.  I wont be getting ready at the location. Thats the problem
  • I asked FI (since he grew up on a farm) what he thinks would be a good idea and he said horses or a pick up truck. So would a horse and carriage work, that may work for a farm wedding. The pickup truck idea kinda seems like it could work too (in the cab or on the bed of the truck)

(Was trying to quote Rascal) That is what I would do. Either do a horse/mule drawn wagon, or in the back of a truck. If you do it in a truck, since it is a mile away, I would ride up front until you got closer, and then get in the back just out of site of the location.
