Flower help!

OK, soo I nailed down the cake baker, a lady in Dublin...check!! Now I have to do flowers..my mother thinks we can get them shipped in and do them ourselves, humm..I don't think so! Any recommendations! It's memorial day weekend and I'm not sure where to go, and I am not doing 25 centerpieces before I get my hair done!?? HELP!

You could do them yourself if you thought you were up to the task. I have heard good things about www.fiftyflowers.com as well as ordering bulk flowers from Sams Club.
We are using Flowers on Springtree Lane. The ladies are so wonderful to work with.

Hillard Floral Design was really good to work with, even though I didn't end up choosing them. I hope your wedding is a ways away b/c if not you may have a hard time finding a florist this close to your wedding.

April's Flowers in Grandview has been wonderful... She is personally delivering the flowers for my wedding next week... So far I've been so happy with the flexibility and price... I'll post how everything turns out after next week!

I cant' say enough great things about Manor House flowers. Mandy works out of her own home and is very reasonable with cost. Also, she is super creative!

Try Blooms Direct in Grandview, especially if you decide to do them yourselves. You can go in their walk-in coolers and buy flowers wholesale. Easy access from 670. 670 to Grandview Avenue north (cross Dublin Rd) . The light past the railroad tracks is Goodale, Turn right and it is about 1/4 mile, just past the city pool/park

Park in back, there is a door on the West side near the back. Takes you right in to their stock area. Or you can go in the front door. They also do beautiful arrangements if you want them to do it for you.

I third Flowers on Orchard Lane. I knew nothing about flowers, and the owner (I forget her name) sat down with us and created a really reasonable package using our wedding colors in about 20 minutes, I was so impressed! She was such a sweetheart.
