A daytime wedding?

I am able to get a great price for a daytime reception from 12 to 5. With a ceremony at 1130. The venue location is one hour away. How should I do the day off wedding planning? How much time goes into hair, makeup etc? Does your makeup artist/ hair dresser usually come to your hotel? Do you see them? I guess I am just worried about a daytime weddig so early and fitting it all in. To have an evening wedding would be at least $2000 more.

    You can either have your hair/makup artist come to you or go to a salon, it's whatever you prefer. My understanding is going to a salon will take less time because everyone can get their hair and makeup done at once, whereas if you hire one make up hair/makeup artist only one person can be done at a time.

    I'm going to a salon and my hair/makeup artist told me to allow 2 hours. So I would think 8am or so would be a good time for a hair/makeup appointment if you go the salon route.
