Coral House in Baldwin

We are getting married next summer and are thinking about having an afternoon reception at the Coral House.  Has anyone been to an event there recently?  We met with the banquet manager and loved the room and the food we tried, but we have read a couple of bad reviews.

    Yes I'm thinking of using this venue as well for jan2014. I've been to a graduation party there and the food. We had was very good and the room was gorgeous even for one of the smaller ones. I'm thinking the Americana room with the arched windows is beautiful

    If you're not from around their then you may think it is really nice but we have had all our sports dinners there and you really get what you pay for. It presents nicely but its not in a nice area if you know the neighborhoor.It is inexpensive if that helps your budget, but the food is not great.

    It was aweful! Terrible service adn terrible food. The "beautiful lake" was more like a swamp
