Florist HELP

I looked into Flowers by Burton in Huntington/Melville and got a price of 1600 for lows and 1800 for highs (6 BM, 6 GM, 1FG, 12 centerpieces, 4 corsages). Is this the cheapest anyone has heard of? This is the price for ANY flower I want but I really could care less about flowers and don't want to spend that much on them. I'm afraid if I do my own centerpieces they just wont look right?

Anything will help!

I don't think that quote sounds to bad.  I've heard of brides spending about that much for centerpieces ONLY.  Have you checked out any other florists?

I'm usually a pretty crafty person but I would NEVER consider DIY-ing my centerpieces.  If you have the funds maybe you should leave it to the professionals.

Try Lindenhurst Village Florist. Vivian is the owner and she does pretty much all the work. She has a small shop and works directly with you to make sure you get what you want. It can't hurt to call her. 631-226-3884.

I used Heidi from Sugar Magolias. Flowers were great, price was great. I was the same way didn't want to spend too much and she worked with me. I used Roses and Hydrangeas:-)

PS I don't know where you are having your wedding but the place we are having it (FOx Hollow) told us we have to use a licensed and insured florist so we couldn,t bring our own from the outside in....and I have hear this in the past....so if you are thinking about making your own deff check with the place first.

Try pedestals in garden city park.  they give you any flower also and are very reasonably priced.

I wouldn't recommend these guys.....there's already been a few negative reviews and their prices are quite high.....just sayin'
