Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake?

I'm trying to get some information on doing the ceremony and reception at Winfrey Point. Has anyone else had their wedding there and know anything about costs and setup? There just doesn't seem to be much information about pricing of anything! 

My FI and I are just now starting to look into venues for our wedding next May, so we do have plenty of time to pick a place and we are looking into two other great places. Any help is much appreciated!!

    It runs around $150 an hour for rental. We rented it for about 12 hours because you must include set-up and clean-up time.  My husband and the groomsmen were the ones that set -up the reception.  You have to rent pretty much everything, tables, chairs etc.   If you plan on serving alcohol you need to have an officer present and get all that paperwork with tabc.

    I would check with them now because they fill up really fast. I had to book it about a year in a half out.   I love it though. It was perfect and would highly recommend it.

    We loved Winfrey Point! We had our hearts set on it for months but were told by their reservations department that we weren’t allowed to book more than a year out. So, March 1 I called their office 45 minutes after they had opened & was told they had just booked our date! We were pretty upset, but we ended up finding another gorgeous venue. We were even out there 4 days before to tour the inside, ready to put down a deposit & they still wouldn’t let us book until March 1 for a March 26 wedding. That was just my experience. By all means, call & get information. It is a BEAUTIFUL site & totally a blank slate so you can do what you want with it. Plus, the view is amazing. I hope you have better luck booking it than we did. GL!
