Outdoor photo locations - suburbs?

Hi Ladies!
I'll be a bridesmaid this Saturday for my friends wedding. She asked us to help her pick some outdoor locations to take pictures with the bridal party between the church and reception. Trying to avoid downtown. I remembered how helpful everyone was on here with great reccs. So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some nice spots for pictures.  The church is in Chicago (Diversey/Central Park) and the reception is at Astoria Banquets in Buffalo Grove. So we're looking for a place to stop in between the two, preferably near an expressway since we don't have a whole lot of time. Looking at a mpa, here are some of the towns en route:

Park Ridge
DesPlaines
Elk Grove Village
Mount Prospect
Schaumburg
Arlington Heights
Palatine
Buffalo Grove

    There are several forest perserves in that area. You can check that out..

    If you are looking for something REALLY quick, there is a pretty gazebo with a waterfall on the corner of Milwaukke and Dundee in Wheeling. I know people take pictures there on occasion...............

    I second the waterfall in Wheeling. There is also another fountain in Arlington Heights on Arlington Heights Road, but I think the one in Wheeling is prettier. There is a lake near the airport in Des Plaines called Lake Opeka. It is a smaller lake, but really pretty. My cousin had her pictures there on the dock and around the lake and they turned out beautiful!

    We took pictures at North School Park in Arlington Heights (corner of Eastman & Arlington Heights) and then went 2 minutes away to downtown Arlington Heights near Campbell & Vail.  Easy to get to from 53. 
    Another suggestion:
    Twin Lakes in Palatine, again, off of 53.
