So my FI and I are pretty much paying for our entire wedding ourselves. My FI parents are paying for the rehearsal dinner and the alcohol, but to date that is all the help they have received (which is pretty freaking awesome as it is!). My dad is in and out of work through the seasons so they haven't had a lot of money, plus they were trying to save up to just make it to the wedding, which is all I asked of them anyway.
Well, since we are on a strict budget and I have paid a little more than budgeted for a few things I have had to give up on getting these shoes I have dreamed of for my wedding...They are PERFECT for my dress and everything and I fell in love with them months ago and can't stop thinking about them, but also haven't been able to justify spending so much on them.
Now, My daddy called last night to tell me that on the first he is mailing me some money and while I can use it for whatever I'd like, it will be enough to get the shoes he hears I have been wanting!
I am still so excited this morning I just want to scream! I am definitely a shoe girl! I am almost more excited than I was when I got my dress! LOL!
