Secrets Maroma Beach Excursions

We booked our Secrets Maroma honeymoon for August 27-Sept 3rd and we are super excited!
the only other warm spot we've been to together was a quick trip to the Bahamas so we are super excited to lounge by the beach for a week.

But...I know my fiance gets bored of the beach easily--so what excursions does anyone recommend?

I know we enjoy snorkeling but I also was hoping to do soemthing else like cave rafting etc. I'd like to do a 1/2 day excusion.

We booked through US air travel so we don't really have a travel agent that we can refer to.

    you can contact your resort and see if they have an in=house tour company for starters. dh adn in are in cancun/rm every december and have done a ton of excursions. i'd start wtih contacting the resort and looking on tripadvisor for recs and see which ones stand out for you.

    sorry I must be trip adviser illerate. I didn't know you could look things up like that. I thought you could only look up areas/ hotels not actual tours...thats awesome!

    We did Xplor; it's in my Ms. Bio.  It's ziplining, ATVs, rafting and swimming through caves.  It was great but not amazing.  A lot of people like it though; we just got bored!  My advice would be to do it, but to arrange your own separate transportation back to the resort (we booked it with transportation to/from resort as a day excursion)
