Need a venue with reasonable prices...

I live in North Royalton Ohio. Im looking for a venue for a 300+ wedding. Im really trying to budget well  and save money anywhere we can because were paying for alot of it ourselves. Somewhere in the Cleveland area will work. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks so much ladies...

Country Lakes Party Center - North Royalton
This is close to you, and have a lake - which is nice.

Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom - North Olmsted
The oldest working ballroom in NEOhio - everything comes in pacakges - and is very reasonable.

The West Side Irish American Club's max is 300, but they're supposed to be pretty reasonable and it's BYOB which saves money. Also check out St. Demetrios (sp?) in Rocky River (max 500) and also BYOB. IIRC, they're priced around $35/pp or so. Carrie Cerino's in N. Royalton is around $35/pp as well and can handle up to 400. Diamond Event Center (max 500) in Brunswick is $25/pp-ish.

Others to investigate (I don't know pricing though) include: Donauschwaben (sp?) in Olmsted Twp, LaCentre in Westlake (my brother's 350 person wedding was there), and Galaxy Restaurant & Banquet Center (max 500) in Wadsworth.

Good luck! It's harder to find larger venues, especially those with lower prices.

St. Michaels Woodside has great prices.  We are having 200 people and it is $45/person.

When I was looking around my first choice was the 100th Bomb Group but the room ended up being a bit to small for how many people we wanted.  We looked around at alot of other great venues the cost of alcohol was also important.  At St. Michaels you can bring in your own liquor and then beer is included in the cost.
A wedding is a party, not a performance. If at the end of the day you are married to the one you love, then everything went perfectly.

I second St. Michaels Woodside. I've been to several weddings and events there and they do a great job. The room is very nice and being able to bring your own liquor is a huge savings.
I see someone mentioned Window on the River and Weymouth Country Club. Neither are cheap. Weymouth has a minimum, you must spend at least $20k. Windows' prices are about the same but their minimum is per person based on the room you book.

We are having a wedding on a budget and are having ours at Diamond Event Center in Brunswick. Believe they start around 28$ a person. Also, you bring your own alcohol. We also are using a huge savings by using them for our room lighting and dj service they have in house.very personal service throughout. Good luck!
