Wedding Dinner!

Is 4-4:30 too early for dinner? We want our ceremony to start at 2, and cocktail hour at 3. I'd prefer to have the dinner at 5, but I feel like a 2 hour cocktail hour is too much. Any ideas?

    You are correct, two hours is too long for cocktails.  Can't you move the ceremony to 3PM?

    I do not think 4/4:30 is too early for dinner.  I mean, I do but I wouldn't complain and it wouldn't upset my day.

    I wouldn't be hungry for dinner at 4/4:30, especially after cocktail hour.

    I'd push the ceremony to around 3:30 pm.

    Can you move the ceremony or is this a catholic thing or something?  

    We were boxed in with a 2:00 ceremony.  We had travel time to the ceremony, so cocktail hour 3:30-4:30, but then front loaded with dances and stuff, and managed to nudge the dinner to after 5:00.  It worked out fine.
