I hate Target's website.

All I want to do is edit my registry!  First, I had to create a new password (okay fine) and now it won't let me.  But the old one is already deactivated.  And the link for "Target help" doesn't work.

FFFFFFFFFFFFF.  That is all.

Re: I hate Target's website.

  • We kind of live in the boonies, but Kohl's would be a good alternative, I think.  Ever since Target re-did their website, it's been garbage.

Nobody has bought anything from it, but I don't know if we'll be able to delete it.  Some people know that we've already registered there.

I called the help desk, and after trying to spell DF's email address to the non-native english speaker on the other end with no success, said "fark it" (not to the rep) and hung up.
  • This probably isn't super helpful, but a lot of people complain about Target's registry.  I might consider registering elsewhere.

  • I haven't had any problems with my Target registry. Sometimes the website is a little slow in loading, but nothing too horrible. I'm able to add & delete items. Unfortunately, it seems like my shower hostesses forgot to mention Target as a place I was registered at, so all of my gifts came from BBB or Kohls. Nothing wrong with that, just thought it was funny.
  • I hate it too...I always have to re-sign in when I want to add or delete something from my registry and now thats not even working...It's telling me I don't have a password! I might just go with Kohls instead...I already had an Aunt tell me she will probably take my registry list to Kohls because she gets such great coupons. I didn't even think of Kohls when registering.

I don't know if they will let you layer coupons, but when you register at Kohls, they give you registry announcements cards that are 15% off coupons. That always helps.
  • I've had a lot of problems too.  Their webiste isn't very user friendly and always seems to move slow.  If I would've known sooner I wouldn't have choosen to register there.

  • We also initially registered at Target and then deleted the registry because the website was such a hassle. With the constant glitches and slow loading, it was too difficult to update, edit, or view our registry. We also preferred the items we registered for at other stores, so we ended up just deleting the Target one.
