Ceremony Site Recommendations?

My sister is having her reception at Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach, MN and wants to have an outdoor ceremony (they don't have them at the club), but doesn't know where to go. Any recommendations? Close to Lake Minnetonka area is best! THANK YOU!

The Millennium Garden in Plymouth, MN wouldn't be terribly far away.  I am having my ceremony there and the price is VERY reasonable for an outdoor location ($475) and seats up to 300 or 350?  There are two time slots...11-2 or 3-6.  They require the 3-6 time slot to book their reception room though so she would probably have to do the 11-2 slot.

Check into the Three Rivers Park District.  They have a lot of outdoor ceremony locations all over.

Ditto Andrea.  Noerenberg Gardens would be the perfect outdoor setting, it is gorgeous and right on Lake Minnetonka (see link below).

The Woods Chapel in Wayzata/Orono is GORGEOUS. I think it's a little spendy for just a ceremony, but it's definitely a beautiful outdoor space & close enough to Lake Mtka area.

<div>Ditto this. This was my dream ceremony venue, but it was too far from my dream reception venue, so I had to find a different ceremony venue. But it's absolutely beautiful, right on the lake, and very affordable.</div><div>
</div><div>Also, The Woods Chapel is gorgeous, but it is like quadruple the price of Noerenberg! I was extremely shocked when they sent me the pricing info for a cermony only. Quite frankly, it's a ridiculous amount. But I guess if you've got the money to spend, then it's def a very pretty venue.</div>

We ended up going with Black Bear Crossings on Lake Como in St. Paul. It's 5 miles from our reception venue (PEC), and it's outside while also being covered since it's on the promenande. It is a little more than I wanted to spend, but it includes the seating, sound system and "back up" location, which will be priceless if it rains. :) There are pictures in my bio. Kathy, the cooridantor, has been wonderful to work with, always getting back to me quickly and willing to work with me over the phone and email since I'm planning from out of town. It's a bit far from the Layfayette Club which is why I didn't suggest it, but I do love it! :)

The MN Landscape Arboretum could also be an option. They also offer to have a set back-up option if it rains.
