Irish: NY/D Game

It was insane. I was there alone, got mobbed at half-time (and saved by a Philly fan, which basically blew my mind), got called ugly, a whore, someone said H shouldn't have married me, the people sitting next to me were super wasted and kept punching the bill of my hat any time the Cowboys did anything (they also made out a lot), and on my way back to meet my brother who picked me up, drunk men were yelling lewd things to me. I'm pretty sure my sign saved my life.

Here I am terrified Lawrence Tynes is going to miss.

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry you were called those things--Dallas fans are d*cks! The sign is AWESOME though and you look great! And it was an awesome game to win!! Would you ever go back? Not to Cowboy's Stadium probably, but another game? Ive never been but really want to!

Stan- I'm glad you had a good time though! I wish I could say that I can't believe that but it's happened to me too. A friend and I went to a steeler game in Baltimore and we got full beer bottles thrown at us. A guy tried to punch me in the face. I will say that I did comment on the fact that he wore a baseball cap with his area code on it. A police officer sat down the row from us. Then on the walk out, two stadium EMPLOYEES chased us on a golf cart throwing shiit at us.

What the crap?! People are crazy! I might boo someone cheering for the other team, but I would never call them names, throw shiit at them, or get violent!!

Wow that was totally uncalled for.  What in the world is wrong with people these days.  I do love the sign though!!!

Hey now! That isn't very nice. While I don't care about pro-football, most of my family are Dallas fans and I can promise you they would never act that way! So there are 5 fans that aren't d*cks.

Ughh.. theknot ate my other post...

Stan - Love the sign, it is so cute! Don't worry too much about the fans, some people have nothing else to do with their lives besides attack people at sports events. A pretty sad life if you ask me!  Are you in Dallas? My parents live in the metroplex!  I love Dallas, there is so much fun stuff to do, especially the shopping! It is so much better than anything in little ol Oklahoma.

I've been to a few away games. San Diego the year Eli said he didn't want to go there (I get that), Oakland the same year (they heated up quarters with lighters and threw them at my head) and I went alone to that one, I've been to a 49ers/Ravens game (I was dating a Ravens fan, and they are a bunch of lunatics. I would have moved in the middle of the night too). I really want to go to a NY home game though. Some day. I think the only stadium I wouldn't go to is Philly. My mama didn't raise no fool.

Some of the Dallas fans were congenial, and lots said, "I love the first half of your sign and hate the second half", but obviously the ones who were hitting my hat bill and the big haired blonde who called me ugly and a whore are the ones who stick out.

I totes make out at sporting events all the time. I'm klassy like that. I'm glad you got to go though! I have never been to an away football game. Been to 2 buffalo sabres games away though. One in Pittsburgh and the fans were awesome to us and the other in Tampa, that doesn't really count since I think there were more buffalo fans than Tampa fans haha.

Hikey-they were awesome to us. There were a ton of Buffalo fans there (obviously since its such an easy drive). We had a great experience with our hotel, cab rides, etc. <div>
</div><div>Also, I remember this game well because Mario Lemieux came on the ice that game and announced that the Penguins were staying in Pittsburgh and a new arena was going to be built. I was so happy for the Pittsburgh fans. We also lost in a shoot out that game I think, or maybe OT? Either way, it was an exciting fun, goodwill game all around haha. </div>
