  I know, how hard is it to send back the card that is already stamped and addressed!!! Our RSVP date is June 2. I know I will have to call people. I just think it is so rude not to send it back. They have had like 2 months to decide!!!?! So frustrating...

  I was just thinking about some of the people I dont have the back from... and its making me even more angry!  I am a huge control freak and all of my friends/family know this.  Not having RSVPs is super stressful to me.  Planning events is super stressful to me (and its what I do for part of my job) and this is the most important and biggest private event I have ever planned.  I really really need to know who is going to be there! It makes me really upset with my close friends who know how stressful this is for me, like they are being really crappy friends by not sending it back.  I am probably getting more pissed than I need to be but seriously, they all know I am a control freak.  I take over planning of everything bc I want to make sure it gets done.  Its been a miracle that I have kept myself 100% uninvolved with the planning of both my BP and shower (especially the shower since its in 2 weeks and my bff hasnt even mailed the invites and their are OOT guests invited).  Ugh...sorry...I just really had to vent to someone who will understand at least a little how frustrated I am.

  I'm sorry! I'm dreading this happen to us too! Our guests still have 3 weeks, but I have a feeling we are going to have to track down people and treat them like children and ask if they are coming and what they want for dinner. I would be so embarassed if I didn't rsvp and the bride/groom had to call me. Out of 10 people in our bridal party, on 3 have rsvp'd so far! My own brother hasn't even rsvp'd and he just got married in March, so you would think his wife would know how important it is.

  I'm sorry this has happened.  Our RSVP date is July 1 and even though it is a month away I am still worried that tons of people are not going to send back their response.  I am with you I don't see what is so hard about marking down your answer and dropping it in the mailbox.  Unfortunately, people are just inconsiderate.  I have had a few people tell me they will see me at the wedding but I still haven't received their RSVP.  I'm like hello... I need that so I know what entree you would like..  I hope you have better luck when you start calling.  Maybe some will come tomorrow and Monday and you will have less people to call.

  I'd give it a few days. Some people send their RSVPs ON the "RSVP By" date. Like, "Oh, I have to reply by today! Better get this in the mail today!" and then it takes the post office like 3 or 4 days to get it to you. I'd start calling people early next week at the earliest.

  I hear ya. My RSVP date is June 5th - and we have 10 cards out of 45 back. I feel like punching people.
  
  I agree with bridetobe - sometimes people have that date in their mind to send the card back..no idea whyl

  We FINALLY got our invites out Tuesday. Everyone is saying how nice they are, but still don't have any RSVPs back from anyone in town!!! (Turn around time is like, a day, maybe even same day if you send it early.) Apparently, nobody has RSVP'd for my shower yet either, and it's next Sunday. This is going to be a long, annoying process!

  I would wait until Monday or Tuesday to start calling people in case they sent it on the due date.  I'm hoping I get a lot more in the next 2 weeks.  I really don't want to have to call all these people and my mom and FMIL had issues tracking down people for the shower and some never responded!!

  I have been NON stop about getting our RSVPs in. Making it a point to let anyone know who we havent heard from that the date is fastly approaching. We are now offically waiting on 2 people! a whole 2 people who dont know! ugh. So stupid. I purposly made the date 10 days before final count is due. This way I am not freaking out a couple days before the due date. We had prestamped and addressed response cards because there is NO excuse! Even people who have rsvpd via fb email phone have sent in their cards anyways after the fact!
