Caribbean destinations with gambling?

My FI and I love gambling, so for some parts of our honeymoon we were thinking of trying to include a location or resort with gambling.  Other than Atlantis in Bahamas, does anyone know of any other Caribbean islands with gambling?

I was gonna say Atlantis!  :(  That's where we are going!  They do have another resort next door to it, I believe that is called the RIU.  I had friends stay there and the really enjoyed it.  It's all inclusive and close enough to the Atlantis that you can walk over and enjoy their casino!!

Only reason I mentioned other than Atlantis is because we've been there a few times and even in the middle of the night the minimum bet at the craps table (the game we play) is $15 or $25; FI prefers it a little lower so I was going to dig around for other options.

Aruba, San Juan, and  Antigua--right next to the Sandals! But I am sure others offer it too....

It's really fun, there are lots of activities, the pool has a super long 'lazy river' you two can raft on, as well as a bunch of other water park type rides such as some water slides in tunnels that go through shark tanks, etc.  The aquarium is nice to tour, they also have that swim with the dolphins thing if you like that; I personally like sea-faring creatures as food but don't want to go petting them lol.

We stayed in the Cove last time but actually probably won't next time we go, not for any reason negative to the cove, it all depends on what you like.  The nice thing about the Cove is that it's their private building not attached to all the others, so it's more secluded and would probably be a good honeymoon option where you want alone time, but since it's not attached, if you want to gamble, eat in the restaurants, go clubbing, etc. you have to catch a tram over to the main buildings which means waiting for it and then the ride itself, so any time you want to come and go from the place where everything else is you're wasting up to 15 minutes standing around.

My FI and I are more partiers than organized activity types, so we prefer the main building just so we have immediate access to gamble and go the bars, etc.  They of course have tons of organized stuff you can have the hotel set you up with so there's no shortage of things to do; if you like to be pampered and have a big choice, you'll love it.

We're having a difficult time coming up with ideas on what to do for a honeymoon; we're getting married in Vegas, after that we've kicked around ideas of Hawaii, caribbean cruise, medeterranean cruise, etc.  Problem with Hawaii is I think we'd get bored after a few days unless we found a way to go have fun with the local culture instead of going on a bunch of resort-organized site seeing type things, but how do you know where to start for doing local stuff?  Same issue we're having with the Bahamas; I grew up with a bunch of friends from various Caribbean nations, so I'd like to find a way we can go to the Bahamas, of course have some alone time when we want it at a nice resort where we can have whatever we want, but still go out and party, go hand out at local bars and listen to some live reggae, etc.  Medeterranean cruise would be nice but I worry that only spending 12 hours or whatever in port would prevent us from really getting the 'experience' of the places we visit; it would frustrate me to go to Europe and only get the same view of the culture I get from looking at pictures.  So, still working on ideas.... lol

We went to Aruba for our Honeymoon and was happy to see all the casinos down there! MH and I also love to gamble. We have seen gambling in other countries but never as legit as this. They had official games, the slots printed out tickets (not old coins falling out) and they had pit bosses watching everything. At all the casinos that had cocktail waitresses walking around with complimentary drinks. It wasn't like other places we've been to where the casinos are only open at certain times of the day, to me that just seems shady. It was some of the best gambling I've seen outside of Atlantic City and Vegas. We enjoyed the casino at the Marriott, The Riu, and The Hyatt. HTH

What about a caribbean cruise? You can gamble on the boat.

Check out the Sandals on Antigua.  There is a casino right next door.  I booked a couple there for a honeymoon  about a year ago specifically cause they wanted to gamble.  Needless to say, they had an amazing time.

I have heard the same good things about Aruba as well!

    Good luck :)

I have the opposite situation: My FI and I were looking at Aruba because it's outside the hurricane belt in September... but it's apparently the gambling hotspot in the caribbean, and he can't do casinos. I'd say check out Aruba!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone, especially KerriCornell, it looks like the Sandals on Antigua is gonna be wha we do.  We looked at all the Caribbean cruises that left on dates compatible with our wedding based on when we could get back to where we needed to be from Vegas and only two of them would have really worked but they didn't include ports of call that were high on our lists.

I think we're going to stay in Vegas for a few days after the wedding to enjoy our favorite city, then the rest of the time off we have for honeymoon we'll spend between Sandals on Antigua and the Cayman Islands.  I have some good friends that live in Cayman so we wanted to spend a few days there having fun with them, just need to find a place to stay, after seeing the Sandals rooms all the resorts I've found online on Cayman look like they were decorated in the 80's.
