Well FI had someone in mind to be our officiant but that didn't work out so now we're searching! I looked in the sticky post but only found 1 suggestion. We are not getting married in a church and aren't particularly religious. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    I am using Gust Bassionatis from Forever Twogether. I have not personally met him yet, but I booked our date with him. I've read amazing reviews about him on various wedding sites, and my sister, who is an Event Coordinator at the Meijer Gardens, highly recommended him.

    We used Gust at Forever Twogether as well and would recommend them - they will customize the ceremony to your preferences.

    We used Ken Kibby from I Now Pronounce You.  www.inowpronounceu.com or 616-292-8596.  He was great!  We were late to our rehearsal and we had family members late to our wedding and he waited both days.  He also lets you customize how you want it to go.  If you arent religious, then he wont make you put any religious stuff in the wedding.

    My brother and I both used Lou Wislocki for our weddings.  He only charged $150 for rehersal and ceremony.  He was a huge help with the rehersal since we were unsure on a few things and really made our ceremony flow smoothly!

    Ken from I Now pronounce you is awesome> Saw a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcT5MBVaiTs a friend sent me and you can see he looks professonal and does a great job. I was in a wedding he officiated and I wanted to be sure he is booked for our wedding 2 years away. i've seen others and I truly think he is top notch. Not pricey either. He really helped us with an issue with our family about what they wanted in our wedding ceremony too. Everyone was so happy after our first consultation with him. He is getting booked because Grand Volute, Amway and a few others refer him. call as early as possilbe--My friend almost missed out, but he he made sure he could accomodate her.
