My FI and I decided to do a joint-type event on September 8. We're going to pick up friends and carpool to Dallas (we live in Arkansas). We plan on hanging out as a group then splitting up at night to explore the city in our respective Bachelor/Bachelorette parties

Then, at the end of the night, we get to meet back up and go to sleep together at the hotel

I'm so exctied!
ETA: We're not having any type of wedding party so we decided to go against etiquette and plan this ourselves. Our friends don't really care who plans what as long as they get to party :P

<div>As long as you guys have fun that's what's important. The Etiquette police would say you "technically" shouldn't call it a Joint Bachelor/Bachelorette Party but uh, as long as you have fun! So jealous. That is a long drive for one night but I bet it will be a great night :) </div>

<div>Haha, thank you :) Yeah, it's all kinds of against "etiquette". And after stressing about it for a while I decided I didn't care. My friends and family won't care so why should I? Because people not invited to my events will side-eye me? I hope their faces get stuck that way :P</div><div>
</div><div>But yeah, it's about a 5-hour drive. We plan on driving down early Saturday, hanging out that day, bar hopping that night, hanging out a bit more on Sunday, then driving back. Just to squeeze out of it what we can. It's hard when you're trying to mesh so many people's schedules. </div>

<div>Your welcome!! Labels are just that-- labels. Not everything fits into a pretty and perfect box. I am the same way- I will stress about something so much and then realize later that it doesn't matter. </div><div>
</div><div>I can imagine it would be nearly impossible to mesh all those schedules together! But it's so great that you've worked out all the details! I am doing something similiar - the day after the wedding my kids are getting baptized so I have another event to send an invitation out and plan for. What a headache. lol After this I never want to host another party again ;) </div>
