**Opalsky**

You should check out the Confessions thread from last night.  You have broken a bunch of hearts by revealing your s/n name is pronounced Opal Sky and not, O - pall - skee! haha

Anyway, how are you these days?

Re: **Opalsky**

  • I will forever refer to you as O-pal-skee in my head.  Hope that's ok.  Even if it's not, you can't do anything about it because it's MY head!  Neener neener neener!
  • I'll take a look, thanks. I'd wondered if people thought it was pronounced the, uh, Russian way.

I've been better. It has been an exhausting couple of weeks at school and I just want to curl up in a ball and hide.

FI has had a rough year health-wise, and I wound up taking him to the ER on Wednesday night because he'd had tingling pains in his hands and feet for nearly a week. We figured it was an electrolyte issue, and his oncologist was being a douche about giving us his blood test results, so we went to the ER to be safe.

It turned out to be anxiety causing the issues. I feel like a huge diick because I've needed him a lot lately and didn't even see what was happening to him at the same time. I'm a bit of an emotional train-wreck.

Sorry this turned LJ, but it's good to get it off my chest.
  • I've sorry about the trip to the ER, but its good that it's not an electrolyte issue.  Is FI feeling a little better at least?  I don't know what's going on, but I hope things improve.

It's good to see you on.  (((hugs))) to you!
  • He seems to be doing better. He said the tingling started to subside within a few hours of finding out what was causing it. I think the health issues earlier in the year have made him extremely nervous any time he starts to feel weird, and it became this self-perpetuating thing.

He's got a script for some Xanax, and we're setting up some counseling for him and he's working with his boss to cut his stress levels at work-- he thinks work is how this whole thing started.
  • Hope his relief comes swiftly.  Anxiety is no joke.
