    Have you checked out homegoods?  They usually have a variety of cake stands.  Not too sure about cupcake stands though.

    JMBsbride: I was at Costco today (the one in Roseville) and they have sets of 2 light green glass (milky, not see-through) cake stands, one a bit taller than the other, for (I recall) around $19 for the 2 of them. They have scalloped edges on the bottom of the cake top part, they were really cute. Not sure what price range you are looking for.

    ITA on Homegoods..........also Marshall's and TJ Maxx. They may not match each other, but they don't have to.......eclectic is nice.
