Need an indoor location for engagement photos in Atlanta!

We are shooting our engagement photos in Atlanta at the end of July. Originally we were planning to do Piedmont Park or Botanical gardens but with the insane heat and humdity we are looking for good indoor locations for the photos! We are getting married at Georgian Terrace so want to do photos somewhere other than that..Please help with any suggestions!

  • The Fernbank Museaum of Natural History is pretty gorgeous inside, as well as the Museaum of High Art, The Botanical Gardens do have indoor areas (the orchid house for instance), I've heard the Atlanta History Center is also very nice although I haven't been there personally, The Swan House Mansion has indoor & outdoor areas, The Jimmy Carter Presidential Museaum & Library is pretty & has both in&outdoor, The Georgia Aquarium is also very pretty (but not formal)... I'm sure you'd need to check about the ability to take photos in these places, especially the museaums, and they may or may not require a fee.
I almost forgot- my alma mater, Agnes Scott College, is crazy gorgeous & built in the late 1800's- both inside & out. It's located in Decatur, about 15 min. from Atlanta. I'm sure they'd want a fee though..
