Whatcha doing?

This weekend?

Tonight:  I'm trying to change up and add to the registries we created yesterday and today.  I never knew how long it took!  I was so hungry and tired, I spelled my last name wrong.  lol.

Then I'm going to join the geek squad aka FI and step son, to watch Finge and Merlin.

Tomorrow:  Deaf Lunch, at the mall to practice what we learned in class.  Then we're heading to Boston, to visit family and see the Pompeii exhibit at the Museum of Science.

Sunday:  Pregaming and football.  As well as printing envelopes to send the STDs out on Monday!  Yay!  My mother found a font that looks like fancy handwriting.  I'm a bit skeptical.

Re: Whatcha doing?

  • Tonight:  Watching SYTTD - Atlanta.  Just relaxing really.

Tomorrow:  Zumba in the AM and then I have a consult with a wedding planner.

Sunday:  It's all about football baby!!

Sounds like a nice weekend.  I love the Atlanta SYTTD the best.  So funny.

I wish I was coordinated enough to take ZUMBA with others.  The last class I took at a gym I almost took out a sweet old lady.
  • Tonight: Watching "Ides of March" with Tim. Pretty good so far! But who would complain about watching Ryan Reynolds for an hour and a half?

Tomorrow: Meeting with the caterer at noon. Hope it goes well! The back home to do some studying.

Sunday: Taking my national boards.. AAHHH! Im so nervous! Ive been studying since December. Then I'll be heading home to watch the Superbowl.. Go Giants!! :)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

  • Good evening ladies!

Tonight:  Watching Gold Rush (I think that's what its called) with FI.  I did some lifting at the gym tonight so relaxing to his show and then comedy will be great.

Tomorrow:  Long run or doing some light cardio at the gym depending on how sore I have from squats.  FIs friend is coming to visit so I'm sure I'll be hanging out with them for awhile.

Sunday:  Long run or light cardio depending on what I do on Saturday.  I need to send out my boss's STD and then heading out to FIs boss's for the Superbowl!
  • Tonight: The gorgeous NOTHING lol Its a rare occurance in our house!

Tomorrow: Still more nothing until dinner (maybe housework/DIY wedding stuff, but nothing I have to leave the house for) and then dinner we are meeting with friends to celebrate the fact I got a new job.

Sunday: Church, then meeting with 2 of my bridesmaids for our makeup trial. After that going to a Superbowl party at a friend's house.
  • Tonight: FI and I went out to dinner, now we're just watching tv and relaxing.

    Tomorrow: cleaning, running some errands.

Sunday: working 6-2:30 and then having a little super bowl party at my house.
    Anniversary
  • Tonight: FI and I went to a local mountain  (i use "mountain" lightly) and hiked about 6.5 miles. It was really funa nd we always end up having serious life talks on long hikes like that. Now, we're getting ready to eat ice cream and watch Bride Wars with FI. Yes, you read that right. Bride Wars. With FI. SO excited! lmao

Tomorrow: We bought the other piece of furniture that we're using for our place card table at a thrift store. It's actually a computer desk, but I LOVE the shape and think it will look fantastic painted/ditressed! Plus, it was a STEAL!!! $35! Can't beat that. So we're picking that up, then going to a complimentary cake tasting at a local bakery. We have a consult with a different baker on Thursday, but this one popped up and we're free so we figured why not? At least we would have something to compare it with. After that we're doubling dating with my bestie and her gf at a fantastic sushi place. Seriously, the BEST sushi (except this one place in Atlanta... lol)

Sunday: TBA. We don't care anything about football so the Superbowl isn't even on the agenda. haha
  • Tonight: Left work to go tutor for another 4 hours; Just got home a little while ago and had some Chinese Food FI ordered & now I'm watching Gold Rush Alaska b/c that is his show (but I think he fell asleep so I might steal the remote to watch SYTTD or 4 weddings, whatever is on)

Saturday: Tutor for 2 hours in the a.m.; Clean the house & give the dog a bath; When FI gets home go look at rings, possibly talk to the cake baker in town & if I can sweet talk him into going to BB&B maybe finish up that registry.

Sunday: Church, Teach CCD, Lunch at my parents

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, hopefully it doesn't go too fast :)

  • ekk yay giants, aso YAY Ryan Gosling  haha, we watched Ides of March last weekend we have Drive for tonight (or more than likely tomorrow as its already 9:15)

I am hanging with my DVR for as long as my eyes will stay open, FI and my mom are upstairs painting.  I had a sinus and ear infection last week, and now have gained a nasty viral sweaty fever body ache nightmare on top so I was out of work the last 2.5 days but had to go to a meeting today and it wore me out, that plus a few loads of laundry and cleaning the living room and I am now DONE

Tomorrow FI is continuing work on upstairs apartment-hopefully starting to sand floors, I am going with MOH and her daughter to look at bridesmaids dresses bright and early.  Then I am headed to hobby lobby/michaels/staples to get cards or card stock to make cards to mount my STDs on with a little note about hotel situation for our guests, hoping to have those done and in the mail by Wednesday!

Sunday I am looking forward to sleeping in and hopefully yummy breakfast(if I can taste anything by then)  And then of course FOOTBALL!!! GO GIANTS!!!!
we will make an appearance at our friends' house who always host superbowl, but by halftime we have to be at my parents house. My dads basement is a shrine to NYG and we have watched all of this amazing playoff run together in the basement with the same coozies and same jerseys! we're not superstitious at all haha

The more you do Zumba the more coordinated you get.  :)

  • This weekend should be a nice relaxing one. I have a three day weekend. (took off monday for my b-day). Going to TRY to avoid wedding details for a few days. (lol doubt it!)

Saturday- the kids gymnastics in the morning, and then probably bumming around for a bit before dropping them off at my mom,s so FI and I can go have dinner and drinks with my dad and step-mom.
Sunday- Dinner at my moms. and probably more bumming during the day. (FI got state taxes back so a little spending is in order)
Monday- Having a girls day with my bff followed by hanging out with FI and the kids when they get off school. Not sure if he has anything planned.

Oh and bonus... FI ordered my reception shoes today as part of my b-day present. Can't wait til they come in!!!! Probably not til later next week :(

  • Last night FI and I went out with one of his groomsman/his gf (who I love).  We had a fabulous time although I can't say I ate very healthy.

Saturday should be a lazy day.  I'm planning to to go the gym/secretly hope more of our friends call about how excited they are to have gotten our STDs (we sent them Wednesday).

Sunday is the Super Bowl.  We invited the previously mentioned couple friends to our house to watch the game (go Giants!).  We will invite another groomsman and his wife (also a good friend of mine), but they are being seriously antisocial lately so I doubt they will attend.  Lately = since October when they got married.  She claims that "once you get married you just want to be a homebody and never go anywhere anymore."

I disagree, but maybe that's just me?  Perhaps I'm just missing my friend more than I should?  Does anyone else anticiapte not going anywhere/not seeing friends after your wedding?  This couple does have a son to take care of.  Her son from her first marriage is 2.5 years old and totally adorable--I am completely in love with thim--he calls me Yana and my FI Gigi although I have no idea why, those aren't even close to our names--Susan & Cary.  They share custody with his Dad, who is very involved in his life and shares equal custody.

Regardless, I think it will be a nice relaxing weekend.

  • Last night: FI and a went to an AHL hockey game. It was great to get to spend some "just us" time together as work as been so hectic lately. Today: Going to pick out my invitations with my mom. So excited! Later, I'm hoping to finalize my boudoir outfits as my shoot is in a week. Sunday: Relaxing with FI and our doggie. Couple errands and then wings, lots of snacks, and football! Have a great weekend everyone!

  • @scogs - that's completely ridiculous about the antisocial thing. Just because you get married doesn't mean you have to completely give up your social life. I wonder if something else is going on there...

  • Last night: Goodbye drinks for a coworker who is moving to one of our offices in another state. A little sad to say goodbye, but a fun night overall.

Tonight: Late night at work. Again. Thank you, Nevada caucus.

Tomorrow: Have the day off work for the SUPER BOWL, so I actually get to hang out with my FI during the daytime instead of just at night and then go to a Super Bowl party at my coworker's house!!! Can you tell I'm excited for tomorrow? :-)

I have a lot of friends like this. Its like pulling teeth to get everyone to see eachother once a month.

Those friends that became homebodies, are the same friends that got mad when you would hang out with a boyfriend a few extra times a week. Its so funny how tunes change.
  • Last Night: I got plastered.  I'll admit it.  Haven't been drunk in a long time and it was great to be slammed.  And I feel fine today.  Even better!

Today: Cleaning and laundry.  You can see how that's coming along.  It would be going smoothly, if I were actually doing it.  So really, I should say laundry (yes I'm really doing that haha) and Knotting.  And Pinning.  Oh noes.

Tomorrow: We're going to the trail (we have a great local trail that's 20 miles long and is awesome for running/walking/hanging out with the doggies).  The girls need a good walk, and I am going to have a nice run.  After that it's Super Bowl fun time.  Weeee.
  • Last night, we watched The Greatest Movie Ever Sold and finished off the end of Being Erica *sniffle* and relaxed after a long day of DIY supply shopping and invite wording.

Today, I'm going to finish off the templates for the invites, work out (debating Zumba va 30 day Shred), and work a little on my novel.

Sunday, I have work to do for a facilitation seminar in two weeks, more working out, and more writing.  Whew!
