This past week has been SUPER SUCKY!
First off, when I got back into the country two weeks ago I bought a car for $1200. Not even a full week later it does some crazy stuff with the engine and I bring it to a mechanic.
Before they even have a chance to look at the car, we get a call that one of our relatives in New Orleans passed away. So we packed up all our stuff and rushed over to NO - where I could not connect to the internet on my netbook. The funeral was Thursday - the same day I was supposed to book my venue for the wedding. Obviously I don't think that booking my venue is more important than going to the funeral, but it was still pretty dissapointing.
I get back in town and talk to the mechanics about my car and they say that I shouldn't spend another penny on it, and that it is clear to them that the computer in it was fooled with to make the engine light go off among other little things. So basically the people that sold me the car knew it would do what it did and they lied to me.
Now I have to go out of town again tomorrow for work so I now have an appointment for next Monday to book my venue which I mgiht not even be able to do because I need money for ANOTHER car - since I obviously will not be able to sell the car for what I paid for it.
