Updated vendor review

I got married last October and did major DIY work on my invitations. I took my design to Quik Print on South Lamar and was incredibly happy with the results. The invites looked great and the cost made me super happy. At the time, I gave them a great review and have since sent several brides to them for their printing needs.

Now I'm a bridesmaid for my friend's upcoming wedding and I'm helping her plan everything. I sent her to Rick at Quik Print and was shocked to find that everything has changed. Rick no longer works there and someone new is in charge. The color that printed looked absolutely NOTHING like the colors on the file. And even though my friend needed twice as many invites as I had, he quoted her FOUR TIMES what I paid. What?

So we found a new place and I have to rave about it because it is so great! It's called Sterling's printing. They were so nice and accommodating! They were able to have all 250 invitations and RSVPs printed, and CUT (quik print didn't cut!) by the next day and the price was about half of quick print's quote. And the color looked spot on. They were so great.

So even though I had a great experience at Quik Print, be advised that there's been a change of management and things are different. I'd now recommend Sterling's over Quik Print in a heartbeat. Hope this helps someone!

Thats good to know because after reading you Quick Print review, I was going to go there instead of Kinko's. I think I will go back to Kinko's. Thanks!

Glad to help! I'd suggest going to Sterling Printing over Kinkos though. I had to print some bridal shower invites this weekend and was just going to run 'em through kinkos. But Sterling did them same day, for LESS than kinkos (considerably) and the quality looks much better. Oh, and they cut them to size for me, too! They're so awesome.

I got a great printing done by Alphagraphics on Parmer Lane. My invitations look gorgeous and they even did some design work for me, which is great. II'm not all that creative at times and wish i was a DYI-er... I keep trying :)

but in either case, i strongly recommen them. The owners are Janell Kling and Michael Kling
