Gifts?

This might be kind of a silly question but the people who you give gifts to are the people participating in the wedding right? I'm wondering about parent gifts. I was planning on getting a customized hanky and pandora charm for the mom's Dad's are tbd

Can't edit on my phone and I was done lol... My parents are footing the entire venue bill and FI's parents aren't paying for anything so I can totally see my mom getting pissed. What are other people doing?

I'm getting my dad a hanky. Then both parents will get photobooks. We'll probably get them flowers for the RD but they don't expect anything and we're footing the entire bill. My mom has said she will give me money soon so I wanna do something extra for them

I am doing parent books for them all.
When i asked his mom what a good gift for his dad would be she was baffled. Had never heard such a thing & has had 2 sons both get married twice. I think i must be the only one who cares about our parents i guess.

It came with my photography package so it will be late. I only had to pay 90$ extra for the 3rd one because my parents are divorced.

When my cousin got married they got their parents new digital cameras for the wedding. It was a nice, thoughtful gift but not in my budget and we (my siblings and I) just bought my mom a nice camera about 2 years ago that's still in great shape. Our parents (except maybe FMIL) don't really expect anything or anything big

We are also footing the entire bill for the wedding, so we will only get something small for the parents. They will all get photobooks after the wedding (FMIL may not...she may just get a few photos from the wedding, she tends to not take good care of anything we give her...) We will give the moms a hankie and not sure about dads yet.

<div>It doesn't have to be something big, but a token of appreciation is always nice for the people who have supported you. Even if you can't afford a lot there is SOMETHING that will fit a budget. I still think my fiance's brothers & wives were wrong in not getting anything as the parents did lots for them even if not money. </div>

We are paying for everything on our own so we will probably just be getting our parents small hankies and then for christmas they'll get wedding picture albums.
