NWR Poll... Graduation Gift

So.... my graduation from nursing school is coming up fast.  DH asked me the other day what I would like for a graduation gift.  Normally I would say "nothing" or "dinner" or something like that b/c I am not a huge fan of asking for presents.... but... goddammittt I busted my butt to get through this god awful program and I think I have earned myself a pretty nifty gift to commemorate.

So... what do you think?  I'm not really into jewelry and he can't really take time off for a mini-vacay... plus I need to spend some time studying for my boards anyway.  I was thinking asking him to pay for a 2 day study course, but I'll be danged if my gift is in any way school related.

I cant vote b/c I want both of your choices. Haha so one of the 2 you listed! And heck yes you did bust your asss and you certainly deserve it :)

Coffee maker... you'll need it as a nurse :) You may be different than me, but, I know that I begged FI for  Nintendo DS for 2 years for Christmas and last Christmas he got me a pink one (LOVE HIM) aaaand it's gotten hardly any use since my winter break ended in January. I feel bad about it :( Now I'm gonna go home and play it this weekend. Anywho, if you know you will have time to utilize the nook/kindle and that it will not become a dust collector on your shelf like my DS, then go for that! But, for the reasons above, I voted coffee maker

Well...since I snuck into my Keruig (hey..it was a shower gift and not a wedding present-yes....I am sure!) I couldn't imagine my mornings without it! Part of this is because I am lazy in the morning and the other part of me hates wasting the whole pot of coffee that noone else drink!  Throw some water in the tank...turn it on...give it a minute wo warm up...pop in a k-cup and push the cup size button....and you have coffee...and no waste!  On the other hand...I don't read for pleasure since I am a student again so that is another reason I chose the Keurig!

I chose the Kindle (I'm actually not sure which is better between Nook and Kindle), mostly because I have wanted one forever. But it depends if you feel like you'll use it or not. I've been holding off because I feel like I would like it at first and then never use it.... but that's just me. Depends if you're a reader or not.

I have both a Keurig and a Kindle.  I love my Kindle, but I chose the Keurig for you because it is my lifeline in the morning haha.  It's easier to be around patients when I'm happily caffinated.  I just bought the new Dunkin cups, yum!  Excellent with Silk vanilla creamer :)
