Officent Pricing-Orange County, NY

Hi Ladies

I am in search of a non-denominational officiant for our wedding but don't know the normal rate. I have spoken to two so far and it seems around $800 plus gas! YIKES! Any words of advice. We are getting married at Stony Ford Golf Course in Montgomery, NY.

    Have you checked out Reverend David James? He is awesome and he didn't charge us for travel even though he was coming from CT and our wedding was in Congers, NY. www.wedrev.com

    No have not. I have spoken to two indviduals so far and they are charging $700-900. I thought that was CRAZY. We are getting married in Montgomery, NY. We just can't afford this price and I think I am going to have to take a look to see where else we can cut from.

    I'm going with the owner of Hudson Valley Ceremonies, Jeanne Stark. She's in Rhinebeck and traveling to Stony Point for our wedding. I can't remember the price at this moment but it is not even close to those prices. I'll get back to you...

    Yes I found them!!! Awsome. I posted another post on them specfically and to see if anyone had feedback one of the reverands.

    I am using Ceremonies For a Lifetime - I believe her / her husbands services start at $350.
