Yesterday my mom and bridal party threw me a surprise Bridal Tea! It was sooo cute! I knew I was getting one, but was not told any info about it. FI asked me Friday if I was free Sunday because he was talking to a few friends after basketball and they gave him an idea to surprise me. I thought it might be the shower just because we are about a month away and I know there are other weekends that wouldn't work for other people. Small details and comments just kept throwing me off so I wasn't sure anymore.
It was held at FIs brother and sister in laws house, and hosted by my mom and the bridal party. . They had a tent set up and bought a bunch of laterns to decorate it. They had teacups at each setting and used teapots with flowers as the centerpieces. There were about 30 people there which was nice. The favors were little bags with teabags and cookies. It was all soooo cute!
One of my BMs had a family emergency and couldn't come
. Apparently a lot of invites got lost in the mail as well which stinks (my mom never even got hers!). I suck with getting pictures on here, they always come out either too large or too small. There are some on fb. Hopefully my mom will get some up soon as well!
