Flower girl bouqet

Our flower girl is going to be 8 at the time of the wedding and I find it a little silly to ask her to carry a basket (Super cute for really little girls though).  I was thinking about having her carry a floral pomander ball instead, but my mom suggested having her carry a smaller version of my bouquet?  So what are your thoughts?

    You could ask the FG what she would like to carry.

    Good suggestion to ask the flower girl what she would prefer to carry! It will definitely make her feel special, and like she's a bigger part of the wedding. She decided she wanted to carry a small bouquet.

    That's a good idea, I don't see her often because she lives 3 hours away but I will definitely be sure to ask her.  That definitely would make her feel special.

    My FG were 6 and 9 and they carried mini bouquets that matched the MOH. I thought it as age appropriate. I do think that asking them will make them feel more involved.

    My FGs, who are 5, 6, and 10, are carrying a tiny version of my bouquet.  I was going for a vintage look.
