i was supposed to make an RSVP spreadsheet, call the suit rental store and finish my bouquet. In fairness...I have really bad allergies:(
this week I'm getting our marriage license, finishing my bouquet, creating that darn spreadsheetarranging suit rentals for my brothers and helping my fiance decide on ties.

FI and went and looked at Tuxedo's. I think he was afraid he would look fat and was trying to put it off. He also has problems committing and making decisions so even though he picked the style he wants he is going to wait to order. Although the sales guy said the were having a sale in a few weeks so maybe it's ok that he is waiting. We decided we needed one more table for the reception so I had to get another lantern and candle for the centerpeice, which we dropped off at his parents place along with my great grandmother's rosary beads so his Mom could take them to the florist (he is going to incorporate the rosary beads into my bouquet). We started talking to his Mom and I realized she was starving for wedding info!! Because you know FI isn't going to tell her stuff, so this morning I wrote 2 emails to her with a bunch of info

. We are meeting with the venue next month and we need to add extra stuff so I made a list of what we need for that and this weekend we will go pick up the champagne and maybe this week I will look for a card box

Purchase bags for OOT bags and attach tags
Hopefully this wknd taking all of the stuff we need to assemble our favors to my parents and starting that....

I was a good girl this weekend. I finished our ceremony programs, signage and unity candle. I think that wraps up my DIY projects! I also had follow up meetings with my baker last week and DJ on Saturday.

This week my RSVP's are due and I have to have a list of names to our calligrapher by Tuesday after Labor Day. I will also need to set follow-up meetings with my florist and venue coordinator.

The only things left to do are make a few small final payments to vendors, have my final dress fitting, wrap the remaining gifts, and we are ready to head down the aisle!

and booked our Engagement photos to take on (my birthday

) what a nice gift!

I had my second shower this weekend (pics to come soon) and also am just about finished with my invites. I need to print the address labels today so I can get them out this week.

This coming weekend we are heading to our friends to start our favors (pumpkin beer) and I'd like to finish up my centerpieces and bathroom baskets. I'd like to start formatting the menu for each place setting, too.

Not much, but I ran my first 5K, so that was fun! I also finished up door hangs for the people staying in our hotel block that say, "Do not disturb, I was celebrating lehc723 & FI's wedding".

Decided to ask cousin's 2 girls to hand out programs
Got my dress and it fits! It's now hanging in my closet!
Bought unity candle and stand
Bought candies for favors
Bought thank you cards and return addresses for 50% off on VP
Been email Photographer about photo lists, timeline and final payment.
Emailing Venue Coordinator with random questions, she probably hates me lol
Called Rehearsal Dinner venue with time of RD since it changed
Schedule next session with Pastor for this Saturday

Needed to do:
Call and price shuttle
Get FI to finish is packet for Passport so we can sent it off and HOPEFULLY get his passport in time... (got a plan B just in case)
MAIL FI's passport stuff!

I got a lot of little stuff done. Ordered centerpiece stuff on Friday. Ordered some personalized napkins and some tablecloths for my guests tables cake table and gift table. I got a basket on sale on sale at michaels that I'm going to arrange the silverware and napkins in on the end of the buffet. I got the sand but no holder for my sand ceremony. I was going to do blue and white but couldn't find blue and went with tan and white since I figured that would go better with any decor we choose. I'm bummed that they were out of the holders. I also went to a wedding where I was the photographer/makeup artist/hair dresser..not a paid one either and definately saw that I want to be 100 percent organized and on time and people need to know what is expected of them before 10 mins til. I went with my FSIL because she asked me to do her makeup and take some photos with her camera. WELL..if I hadn't taken any the bride wouldn't HAVE any. I also ended up doing another BM's hair because she came straight from work and barely made it in time...and the hairdresser had been gone. She had been told there would be someone there to do it when she got there..but the hairdresser had to go to a bday party and never came back. But some of her photos turned out very pretty! I'll share the album in a new post of the pictures posted on FSIL's FB not sure if you'll be able to see due to privacy settings..but its worth a try!

I got my invitations DONE!!! I am going to the post office on my lunch hour today and putting them in the mail!!!!! I am SO excited!!! What a huge check!!!! Finally!

I also found the base piece to my centerpieces....hobby lobby had them on sale for 1.00 each!!!!! How lucky was that!!!! Reg 6.99....

Met with family friends that will be doing our flowers, and they confirmed they would do the day of coordination! I started on my table numbers, and will try to wood burn one tonight. We met with our pastor yesterday and confirmed he would marry us! Yay! FI also told me that he would like to do our own vows, so now I'm gearing up to write them! I'm a little nervous, but I think it will be really special! NWR, I started making baby shower games & decor for my BM's baby shower next weekend (we are also doing one of my showers and b-party!).

I wanted to get more done, but that's ok I guess. I've got to call my venue tomorrow to ask a ton of questions!

So what did you get checked off of your list?
I spend Saturday afternoon at Mom's, and while my sister and I prepped - Mom completed all the boutteneires except FI's. She also completed two of nine (or ten?) corsages. I wish I knew how to post a picture, I think they are gorgeous! We also picked out our unity candle and stand, the silk for FI's bout, and I dropped off my basket/pillow for Mom to add to. I sent out a handful more invitations, and a friend contacted me to throw a sprinkle.

It will be my family, and I am touched that she is so excited and wanted to do that for me! We found we had enough forks for the reception, and I ordered the favor boxes, napkins and gift bags.

What were you supposed to get done but didn't?
I think I'm good for now!

What is on the list for this week? Nothing. We are beyond broke

Actually - we meet with the preacher dude (our term, since we aren't really sure HOW to address him. Mr. Hendrix, Pastor Steve, Pastor Hendrix, Steve? So we compromised on 'preacher dude') tomorrow night, and may shop for FI's boots this week. I am taking off work tomorrow, to accompany grandmother to the dr, and may shop for a jacket for my 12 yr old.

We sent out the invitations which was the biggest thing. We also looked over the vows and made some changes and I ordered the rest of our WP gifts.

We need to figure out what we are going to do for our parents gifts.

Saturday I had my bridal shower and bachelorette party. My second niece was also born on Saturday at around 2 a.m. So, my sister (needless to say) missed the festivities, but my niece is beautiful and everyone is doing well.

It was a big weekend for my family!

we had a great weekend! saturday had my first fitting and barely need anything done. And sunday we have a great shower! Today we are having a meeing with our photographer to figure out when he's going to arrive, what pics, etc. and Wednesday we have a meeting with our reception site.

Got confirmation info for utilities for our new appartment
Got our first look at our new place
Ordered both wedding rings
Picked up paint samples to match both MOH dress and the RB's vest & started looking at ties for the guys.

To do:
Check on my dress
Make a list of ceramony song and get them to the pianist
Work on the card box
Clean & pack
Sign and get the keys to the new place!
Keep my mom from driving me insane
