Who is doing or did your lighting?  Were you happy with the results?  I am looking into lighting now and appreciate your input.

    I haven't gotten to that part of the planning yet but I did find an interesting post on an uplighting DIY. Apparently someone was saying they were quoted $400 for uplighting! Here is a link to the DIY on weddingbee. GL

    I DIYed my lighting. I actually bought par lights for really cheap...cheaper than you can rent them and then bought gel sheets in the colors i want. I had my wedding at the winter park farmers market and used 16 uplights. it really made the place look 10 millions times better! Ill try to find a picture to post when i get back home, but i am selling all of them for $250 with the gel sheets i have (purple and orange) . I am actually moving on saturday out of orlando but will be back around august 5th if anyone wants them! they are just a normal type plug and i will include these like surge protector things i bought but never even needed to use!

    My dj did my lighting (Jay Edwards, liquid entertainment).  I loved how it looked, it was very very inexpensive and he gifted us some extra lights.
