Day of Coordinator/ Event Planning

Anybody have any good recommendations for inexpensive day of coordinators? How much should we pay for one?

    The wedding hasn't happened, so I can't tell you what she is like on the day of, but I am working with Windy Jennings out of Richmond. So far she is great! Her rate is $750 + travel for DOC. Good luck!

    I am in the process of booking Aubrey from Simply Created Events.  She is out of Baltimore but does a LOT of stuff in DC.  She is very approachable and for DOC she asks for $850.  She also brings along an assistant with her that day so that should I need her, she has someone to watch over everything else. 

    She studied fashion and event management in school and previously did event planning for In Style magazine.  Later she moved to corporate and only recently started doing wedding coordination.  However, she is one mean negotiator and could save you some money on contracts if you choose to employ that service from her as well.

    Ribbon Box Events is the absolute best!! Tiffany Parry is outstanding at what she does and really listens to what you have mind and will work with you until it becomes a reality. She recommended several vendors that were great to work with as well. Most importantly, she took ALL of the stress out of wedding planning! She was more of a wedding planner for me than just DOC... but her DOC skills are incredible.  I have been to weddings were the bride gets pulled away from enjoying her day to deal with details of payment or such and Tiffany would never allow that to happen.  She takes care of everything and is extremely aware as to the needs of the bride and groom, the bridal party and even the guests.  Her prices really can't be beat either!  Check her out.  www.ribbonboxevents.com

    I'm working with Kristi Hartig of Glow Weddings and Events. Her day-of package starts at $595. My wedding hasn't happened yet, but I have full confidence that everything will go smoothly. Kristi's super organized and responsive.
